Alex Rodriguez is now on the steroid user list.
The entire world is now a complete, utter, fraud. Honor is over. From the gutter-most to the uttermost, planet earth is become a den of lying, cheating, greedy, money-grubbing, dishonorable wretches. Every one of us. Jesus should go in and clean out the temple once more.
To get somewhere in this world now, it's not about your substance - no, it's about your shyster-ness. Whether or not you've lived a life of honor and substance - a la John McCain - is irrelevant. True honor, dignity and substance are now ignored - only second-fiddle to the best con-artist.
We've become a world that looks on hypnotized by the current stage-hypnotist - but it doesn't even have to be a skilled stage-hypnotist, only the traveling huckster coming thru town. He calls us up to the stage, and we obey his every order - hopping on one leg, meowing like cats, barking like dogs, becoming the less-than-human caricatures he convinces us we are. We've become nothing more than a herd of sheep, willingly marching off the cliff to our destruction because we're now officially one, big, world of suckers.
I'm sort of making light of our situation, but it's honestly not light. This whole thing is one big house of cards - and one big collapse is coming to us quickly. You can cross home plate on that one.
